Sundays -

Sunday Lessons - Fellowship Hall - 9:15am
Join us in the fellowship hall to enhance your Sunday morning worship experience!

Engage– Rooms 102-103 – 9:15am – Wade Johnson, leader
Jesus told stories (parables) about regular people and everyday things, stuff his disciples would be familiar with, but with deep spiritual insights about them and their world leading to greater truth about HIM.

Basic Bible Truths – Room 101 – 9:15am – Pastor Paul Dunbar
This intensive eight-session class will meet twice a week through March on Wednesday evenings (begins Wed. March 3) and Sunday mornings for guests wishing to join the church through adult instruction or members wanting a refresher course on Bible basics.

Marriage Built to Last – 6:30 pm – Wade Johnson, leader
An evening to gather with other couples for Biblical teaching and practical insight for improving your marriage.  Meet at the church.

Tuesdays

Men's Breakfast Bible Study at the OK Cafe - 7:00 am
Join others around the coffee or breakfast table to study the Bible readings for the following Sunday.

Wednesdays

Morning Bible Study - 9:00am - Pastor Dunbar, leader
This month we will be reading Paul’s joyful letter to the Philippians. You’ll love this book of the Bible and gain lots of new insights. Join us for good coffee, conversation, and spiritual growth.

What Did Christ Do?  – Room 9 - 6:30 pm – Carl Rehwaldt, leader
This continuing class on the six perspectives on the work of Christ will be sure to expand your appreciation for the life and death of our Lord and Savior.

Parenting Classes

• Parenting with Love and Logic
Classes are held twice a year - February and September
*** This course in parent training offers effective, low-stress ways to communicate with chidlren, ages 2-20. Whether you're looking for answers or just wanting to improve your existing skills - this course is for you!! Call the church office at 462-5044 for more information.

Children's Christian Education Class Descriptions

SUNDAY MORNINGS FOR CHILDREN…during the school year.

~ Preschool (anyone turning 3 by Oct. 15, 2009) – Grade 2, will meet in the church sanctuary each week and join in opening singing. In addition to learning songs that reinforce the faith lessons, kids will sing on the second Sunday of each month at the 10:30 service. Parents are asked to pick their children up from their classrooms at 10:15AM. Check the maps posted on the walls for room assignments.

~ Grades 3-6, will meet in their individual classrooms for activities based on a Bible lesson. At 10:00 the students will move to the sanctuary for music. The children will learn music that reinforces the faith and they will sing on the fourth Sunday of each month duringthe 10:30 service.

~ Grades 7-8, will learn how the Bible came to be.

~ Grades 9-12, Join us every Sunday morning in the Youth Room (08) for High School Bible Study, led by Vicki Fisher.

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS FOR CHILDREN...during the school year

~3 year Olds – 8th Grade Classes meet 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

~ 3 year olds – 2nd Grade students focus on a Bible story, games, and crafts.

~ 3rd - 6th Grade – covers a series of Bible stories in a format designed to help students relate them to their own lives. Relationship-building activities reinforce lesson concepts. These grades begin to study systematically the six major teachings of the Christian faith as found in Luther’s Small Catechism.

~ 7th and 8th Grade students will take the basic learning from their younger grades and wrestle with connecting the teachings of the church to life in today’s society.

~ HOT TALKS for high school youth during the school year. Gather with friends to talk about hot topics related to real life. Food, Fun, Prayers and More!

Bus Service Available
Just a reminder that we offer church bus transportation for children or adults who may need rides for Worship or Sunday School each Sunday morning or Word on Wednesdays. Call the church office to make arrangements.
